Khai is a passionate and empathetic counsellor with many years of experience working in a school setting before becoming a qualified counsellor. She is a registered counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association. Khai has worked in schools, not-for-profit and charity organisations with children, adolescents and adults.
As a counsellor, Khai has worked with people from diverse backgrounds in relationship challenges, emotion regulations, anger management, depression, anxiety and motivation matters using Cognitive and Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help her clients improve their mental wellbeing. Her work is grounded in person-centered and strengths-based approach. Her compassion, gentleness and active listening provide clients a safe space to explore the issues her clients wish to work on.
As a mother and an immigrant from Malaysia that celebrates multicultural in the community, Khai has a special interest in parenting and relationship challenges. Khai welcomes clients from diverse background, cultural and beliefs, and endeavours to help people develop resilience and mental health.

Khai is a professionally trained counsellor dedicated to supporting individuals through their personal and emotional challenges. She holds a Master of Counselling from Monash University and has extensive experience working in school and community settings.
With a strong foundation in evidence-based therapies, she integrates Cognitive and Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to support her clients. Her compassionate, person-centred approach ensures that clients feel heard, supported, and empowered in their journey toward positive change.

As an immigrant from Malaysia, Khai understands the unique experiences and challenges faced by individuals from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds. She is passionate about providing a safe and inclusive space where clients can explore their identities, navigate cultural expectations, and build resilience.
With a deep appreciation for multicultural communities, she welcomes clients from all walks of life and works collaboratively to support their emotional well-being, personal growth, and mental health in a way that respects their cultural values and lived experiences.
