Individual
Counselling Service
You have taken the first step to be here!
Taking the first step towards seeking support can be challenging, and I want to acknowledge your courage for being here. It’s common for people to feel uncertain or anxious about starting therapy, but know that this is a positive step towards improving your mental and emotional wellbeing. My goal is to provide a space where you feel safe, heard, and helping you navigate life’s challenges.
What is Individual Counselling?
Counselling or talk therapy, is a confidential and supportive space where we work together to explore the challenges you are facing. Whether you’re experiencing stress, anxiety, relationship issues, or feeling overwhelmed by life, counselling provides an opportunity to reflect, heal, and grow. Here, you can talk freely, with no judgment, about what’s weighing on your mind. My role is to listen, support, and help guide you in finding the best path forward for you.
How does our session work?
In our sessions, I use a combination of Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness practices, and other therapeutic methods to help you process your experiences and challenges. I believe that you are the expert of your own life, and therapy is a collaborative process where we work together to discover insights and create positive change. Whether it’s unpacking past experiences, managing stress or trauma responses, or improving your sense of self, our sessions are tailored to meet your unique needs and goals.
What to expect in a Counselling / Therapy session?
Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially if you’re unsure what to expect. In our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know each other. You can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. There’s no pressure to dive into everything immediately; instead, we’ll take things at a pace that feels right for you. Over time, you’ll likely find that this space becomes a safe haven where you can explore your thoughts and feelings openly.
How long does the counselling session last?
Each standard session lasts about 50 minutes and will be a place where you are fully heard and supported. A longer 100 minutes session is also available to allow more works done in each session. We’ll work on whatever you feel is important at the moment, and I will offer tools and perspectives to help you feel more empowered and in control of your situation.
Who can benefit from Individual Counselling?

Testimonials
“I truly enjoy the walk and talk session with Nick. We had our session at canning reserve . It’s much less formal and much more relaxing . It felt like a walk with mate in the park, very freeing. Definitely recommend it !”
“Really helpful. Nick has the skillset and talent to guide us through meditation. Nick is natural and his sessions are really empowering. After the session I felt relaxed and my tensions were gone. Highly recommend!”
“I recently swapped therapists (not something I was looking for to interms of ‘onboarding’ them to where I’m at). Fortunately I landed with Nick and I’m super impressed with his ability to listen, engage and show genuine interest in my therapeutic ‘journey’ . I super appreciate that he checks in with me between sessions to see how I’m doing. And more so.. I, we, are making progress as I unravel my schizz and move forward. Kind, solid and authentic human…”
